A pretest was applied in order to know the real vocabulary level of the ninth grade student of the Colombia school. It was applied to 29 students who presented a low vocabulary level, they seemed not to recognize simple vocables about fruits, vegetables and verbs tense, although they have been studying this , since they were at primary school.
