The use of websites as a means to streamline classroom work has become a motivational process, but It requires teaching responsibility, since many web sites are presented as a solution for developing communicative  skills in English and more related to the process  of english vocabulary acquisition, as we have seen during this month of monitoring.
 In order to make a responsible use of these web sites a CARE is applied (Yuen & D, 2001) an acronym that identifies four criterias  that allow to evaluate a web site in terms of content, accessibility, representation and education  based on the model proposed by Taylor Yuen, the criteria proposed by Robert Harris in terms of usability, form and credibility are also taken into account. Harris, (1997)

 

Based on these provisions the following model  is applied to the selected web sites for this project, which respond to an educational assessment of both the website and the resources designed and presented to promote vocabulary acquisition
